CANADA’S FIRST EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW FOR 2020 WITNESSES A CRS SCORE OF 473 INVITING 3400 CANDIDATES FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE

The #134 Express Entry took place on January 08, 2020. In the first Express Entry draw for 2020, 3400 candidates will be issued an Invitation To Apply (ITA). The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off threshold was 473 points.This draw saw the CRS cut-off score rise by 4 points when compared to the last draw,where the CRS score cut-off threshold was 469 points.

The tie-breaking rule was applied for the January 08, 2020 draw. As multiple candidates have 473 points, those who submitted their Express Entry profile to the pool before December 27, 2019 at 13:35:09 UTC will be prioritized.Canada’s high-skilled immigration admission target for 2020 is 85,800, up from 81,400 in 2019.
