CANADA’S LATEST EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW WITNESSES A CRS SCORE OF 469 INVITING 3200 CANDIDATES FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE

The #133 Express Entry took place on December 19, 2019. In this latest round of Express Entry draw for immigration to Canada, 3200 candidates will be issued an Invitation To Apply (ITA). The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off threshold was 469 points. This draw saw the CRS cut-off score drop three points to 469 compared to the last draw, where the CRS score cut-off threshold was 472 points, which occurred on December 11.

Canada has now issued 85,300 ITAs through the Express Entry system this year, significantly surpassing the federal high skilled immigration target for 2019 of 81,400. The tie-breaking rule was applied for the December 19 draw, meaning that not all candidates with 469 points will receive an ITA. As multiple candidates have 469 points, those who submitted their Express Entry profile to the pool before November 14, 2019 at 08:41:33 UTC will be prioritized.
