CANADA’S LATEST EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW WITNESSES A CRS SCORE OF 472 INVITING 3200 CANDIDATES FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE

The #132 Express Entry took place on December 11, 2019 which was also the first draw of December. In this latest round of Express Entry draw for immigration to Canada, 3200 candidates will be issued an Invitation To Apply (ITA). The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off threshold was 472 points. In the previous draw, which occurred on November 27, the CRS score cut-off threshold was 471 points.

Canada has now issued 82,100 ITAs through the Express Entry system this year. The tie-breaking rule was applied for the December 11 draw, meaning that not all candidates with 472 points will receive an ITA. As multiple candidates have 472 points, those who submitted their Express Entry profile to the pool before December 6, 2019 at 03:03:49 UTC will be prioritized.

It is unlikely that an Express Entry draw will take place two Wednesdays from the December 11 draw, as this will be December 25, a federal holiday in Canada. Therefore, Candidates should be aware that the next draw may occur outside of the usual schedule.
